We will be offering these services:
ABA and Play Therapeutic Center is a skill-based environment for children to thrive and acquire socially appropriate life skills within a holistic setting. Children will be encouraged to display socially appropriate behavior while immersed in an enriched environment that provides supportive guidance. This nurturing curriculum will foster opportunities that generate an emotionally regulated state, thus providing greater tolerance for demands and life’s challenges.
Best practice ABA, Applied Behavior Analysis, including discrete trial instruction, natural environment teaching, pivotal response training, and Principles of Verbal Behavior, will be utilized within a rotating skill-based schedule. Being mindful of self-esteem and the need for positive relationship building, programming will include child preferences and high-interest activities.
Behavior techniques will include positive redirection with child-informed consent that utilizes minimal hands-on prompting combined with Trauma-Informed Care. Our supportive staff ensures individualized communication, social, leisure, and behavioral skills training throughout the child’s center-based therapeutic experience.
