Owen Health Care’s Intensive In-Home Behavioral program (IIH-B) is committed to implementing evidenced-based practices rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children (ages 5 to 21) with various developmental and intellectual disabilities, including a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Owen Health Care’s IIH-B embraces a goal-oriented, collaborative approach with family members and other professionals in order to maximize potential and shape success for children in the areas of appropriate behavior, communication, socialization, community integration, recreation, daily living, self-care, and other skill sets.

  • Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment Placement and Program (VB-MAPP)
  • Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales

Intervention(s) with target dates for accomplishment of goals that focus on the restorative functioning of the participant with the intention of:

  • Stabilizing behavior(s) that led to the crisis,
  • Preventing/reducing the need for inpatient hospitalization,
  • Preventing the movement of the residence, and
  • Preventing the need for out-of-home living arrangements.
